How should the Boston Marathon Bomber be treated?
Not based upon nationality and past instances, the bomber should be treated like any other citizen would. Not by hanging those by their toes, but all anger put aside definitely punished.
Childhood Poverty
22% of all children in the U.S. live in families with incomes below the federal poverty level, $23,021. An average family of four needs twice that much in order to pay for basic needs. This sickens me. Being that I have gone through this humbling experience before, I understand how hard it is to sit and think about what I need and separating that from what I want. Practicality is key these days, and there is not much room for things that will just take up space. Fortunately enough, there are ways to better yourself further in life by making hard decisions that will benefit you in the long run.
Research is clear that poverty is the single greatest threat to children’s well-being. This means no food, shelter, family, friends, or having anything to depend on except yourself and the clothes on your back are your shelter. The awareness of childhood poverty is high but the actions are scarce. Doing something little, like donating clothes you no longer wear to a shelter or to someone you know that is in need. Another thing a child needs to grow is happiness. Happiness is key in a child’s life and without it the child may not develop correctly physically and mentally.

Border Control
It's so simple it's hard. Border control is a clear issue and we either need to simplify the process or really crack down on patrolling especially for drug purposes. I'm not saying to build an even bigger border or have a wall so many feet tall like that in the Lorax. The alienating of others, why do we call them aliens? They are not from far away like Mars or another galaxy.

Is ecoterrorism justified?
No. Sure there are resources that we need. Maybe the fact that we do not know where these resources come from is why we do not make a big deal of it. I think that certain things need to be done as far as keeping the economy running and sustaining a certain life syle as needed. It is not okay to go around chopping things down or inhumanely killing dolphins because that certain culture cannot evolve and realize the harm that is being done. There is no reason to take out a forest just because some rich guy wants a log home to add onto his long list of residences. Be practical and human and smart, don't do something because of selfish reasons or because you want to impress your buddies. Use your head.

What technology safeguards should society provide?
Anyone can access their personal information at any time from anywhere. We think that the internet or our phones are private and for our eyes only, this is not true. As society adapts to new technology there are precautions that need to be taken. There should be a limit to who can see what and that is why people can be blocked on certain social media websites and on the internet in general. I honestly think there is not much society can do unless there is some kind of issue. It is like human trafficking in the sense of knowing how relevant the subject is now and how long it has been going on. Human trafficking has been going on since forever and in the past six years it has come to our attention officially. Sure, we shouldn't be able to hack other peoples computers and steal phones and compromise someones privacy but we do it anyways. I do not think there is much to do unless it hits home or becomes personal.

in the future technology will...
In the future technology will...
In reference to the outlandish expectations of the future, technology will progress. I believe that there will be an idea like WALLE. In WALLE by pixar, there wasn't any human life on earth, just one lonely machine a cockroach. The humans lived on an aircraft and had seats with screens in front of them and they could facetime people. I don't think technology will be so out of hand that we will all be sitting for the rest of our lives but we already have facetime and sit on our butts chilling on our phones talking through a computer based handheld device.
Technology has already took over everything. From simulation golfing to having universal remotes that control the heating to an outside hot tub. How much more can technology do? Has it done enough? Why do we rely on it so much?

Inauguration Reaction
The inauguration of Obama didn't seem as controversial to me as some thought. Considering I have never watched any other president sworn into office Obama's didn't fill any hopes or misconceptions I may have had. The only part that I payed attention to is when he started to address "our gay brothers and sisters", or something like that. The speech was more issue based and formal opposed to the audience he served (our fellow American's). Speech wise, I think he didn't have the effect that Bush did with his accent and ignorance of the English language. Which was good because of the embarrassment Bush went though. Overall I liked the speech, the parts I understood and heard instead of being bored that is.
